How do I know if my filter is working properly. I have between 11 & 15 psi on my gauge?

Hi Kyle,

Good question….one thing to confirm is to make sure the pump is full priming. It should be full with water – if this is confirmed, this is a good sign.

To confirm, check the return lines to ensure water is going back into the pool.

All the best,

Terry

Hi Wayne,

The PSI is a measurement of the amount of pressure in the filter – this is a good “meter’ to gauge issues with the flow of water. High pressure and low pressure can point one in the right direction when diagnosing equipment related issues.
